Check out this cutie! {cincinnati family photographer}

We were forced to reschedule our original session date because of a nasty storm that rolled through right as we were set to start. Fortunately, our second try greeted us with amazing weather. Mom and Dad had been married up in Devou Park at Drees Pavilion so we chose this location to go back to and document their newest addition. The view there is spectacular of the city of Cincinnati and made for a perfect backdrop for our family session.

Maternity/Family Session

My high school friend Kelly recently moved from Virginia back to Ohio, right by the beautiful campus of Ohio University in Athens. Kelly is expecting her third child soon and having done maternity sessions for both of her other children it was important that she captured this pregnancy as well. I wish I lived closer to Athens because I would use their campus for more sessions! It was such a nice evening for our session and the backdrops of the old campus couldn’t have been better for those soft and glowing maternity images. Kelly’s two children were silly and fun to work with and couldn’t have been more caring to their mom and future sister. Enjoy some of my favorites:

Work Flow Yoga Cincinnati{cincinnati photographer}

Meredith is the owner of Work Flow Yoga in Cincinnati. We both are Springboard graduates and that is how we got introduced. Meredith was looking for headshots and pictures of her doing her yoga thing that she could use for her website and other marketing materials. Her energy is contagious and she has a very genuine and beautiful smile that made working together such a great time! Check out some of my favorite images from our session:

Kristen Weaver Photography’s Workshop {cincinnati wedding photographer}

I have followed Kristen Weaver‘s work for quite a few years so when I saw she was holding a workshop 2 hours from me I knew I had to get there. Kristen is an award winning international wedding and fashion photographer out of Orlando, FL. Her style is clean, creative and full of emotion and she inspires me all of the time. I was giddy and nervous-excited to get to spend the day with her and she didn’t disappoint. We spent the majority of the day reviewing different aspects of running a photography business and she gave some really great advice that I definitely feel will make me a better business owner and photographer. As a special treat she had put together an AMAZING styled wedding shoot for us. She brought in some awesome vendors to set the stage of a wedding reception and a gorgeous model for us to work with. I loved all of the details of this French style decor. From the colorful macaroons to the gorgeous invitation/paper set there was so much to take in and Kristen walked us through her process of getting all of the essential detail shots. Some of these images will go down as my all time favorites. Please enjoy!
